My boss is currently undergoing training for his Instrument Flying rating, so invited me along for a 400nm round trip hop to Michigan, which just happened to be on same day Ohio State played Michigan (biggest college american football game of the season).
Enjoyable trip. What follows are lots of photos, mainly air to air cloud shots but pretty all the same. The quality of some are questionable, but that was due to shooting through a window, playing around with shutter speed, apatures and other such things.
This regained my lost interest in learning to fly, so when my US Citizenship comes through (2+ years), I can start to think about it again
(I can do it now on my green card, but the TSA paperwork is too much hassle. Besides, we need a new house, so the money isn't really available just yet :) )
I was going to start learning in the UK, but the US is just better for learning - cheaper and less crowded airspace are two reasons besides others.
